Carolina Panthers QB STEVE BEUERLEIN completed 15 of 25 passes for 214 yards and threw two touchdowns, and K JOE NEDNEY hit a 46-yard game-winning field goal with 40 seconds remaining to defeat the division-rival St. Louis Rams 27-24 Sunday Night.
Panthers RB TSHIMANGA BIAKABUTUKA, who rushed for 77 yards on 19 carries, set up the game-winner with a 10-yard gain on fourth-and-two from the St. Louis 42. Nedney was perfect on four field-goal attempts, also hitting from 35, 45 and 24 yards, and has missed only once in 17 attempts this season.
St. Louis QB TRENT GREEN threw for 431 yards and 2 TDs, and WR AZ-ZAHIR HAKIM caught 8 passes for 147 yards and 1 touchdown.
