BEARS TOP VIKINGS SUNDAY NIGHT, 13-6

The Chicago Bears defeated the Minnesota Vikings 13-6 Sunday night behind RB JAMES ALLEN, who rushed for 107 yards on 27 carries, and the Bears’ defense.

Chicago held Minnesota’s offense without a touchdown, marking the first time in 98 regular-season games the Vikings did not reach the end zone.  Chicago also held Minnesota QB DAUNTE CULPEPPER without a touchdown, the first time this season and only second time in his career (9/3/00 vs. Chicago) he has not thrown for a score.

Chicago, which swept the Vikings for the first time since 1995, improved to 8-2 for the first time since 1991.
