RAMS SHUT OUT LIONS 35-0 MONDAY NIGHT

The St. Louis Rams remained the only unbeaten team in the NFL Monday night by defeating the Detroit Lions 35-0 behind their high-powered offense and their new stingy defense.

Rams QB KURT WARNER, who completed 29 of 37 attempts for 291 yards, threw touchdown passes to WR AZ-ZAHIR HAKIM (15 yards), WR TORRY HOLT (36 yards) and TE ERNIE CONWELL (1 yard).

St. Louis RB MARSHALL FAULK once again led the Rams’ offense by rushing for 71 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries, while also catching 9 passes for 80 yards.

The Rams’ defense meanwhile forced 3 turnovers inside their own 30-yard line, including CB DRE’ BLY’s interception on the St. Louis 7 late in the 2nd quarter, which he then ran back for a 93-yard touchdown.
