RAMS WIN FIFTH
IN ROW, 21-16 OVER BEARS
St.
Louis QB MARC BULGER remained unbeaten as a starter, and the Rams
improved to 5-5 after a 0-5 start with a 21-16 win over the Chicago Bears
Monday night.
Bulger completed 21 of 35 attempts for 347 yards and 2 touchdowns. WR
ISAAC BRUCE hauled in six of Bulger’s passes for 141 yards. An
eight-yard fourth-quarter touchdown pass from Bulger to WR RICKY PROEHL
proved to be the difference in the game.
Chicago RB ANTHONY THOMAS carried 14 times for 61 yards with a
touchdown. Bears K PAUL EDINGER connected on all three of his
field-goal attempts, including a 50-yarder late in the fourth quarter.
The
Rams became only the second team in NFL history to win five consecutive
games after losing five in a row to start the season. The Washington
Redskins accomplished the feat last season. |
