DOLPHINS FOR LEAGUE’S BEST RECORD
The Green Bay Packers defeated the
Miami Dolphins 24-10 on Monday night at Lambeau Field to improve their
record to a league-best 7-1.
Green Bay QB
BRETT FAVRE
showed no signs of a sprained left knee suffered in his last game, leading
the Packers to a 24-0 advantage after three quarters. Favre completed 16 of
25 attempts for 187 yards and a touchdown. Packers
RB AHMAN GREEN
rushed 19 times for 72 yards and caught six passes for 71 yards, scoring
once on the ground and again on a 23-yard screen pass from Favre.
Miami QB RAY
LUCAS threw
for 198 yards and ran for a touchdown in the losing effort. Lucas’ new
target, fresh-out-of-retirement
CRIS CARTER,
caught 3 passes for 31 yards in his Dolphins debut.
With the win, Green Bay now leads the NFC North by 4 games, while Miami’s
lead in the AFC East is down to half a game. |
