TITANS QB STEVE MCNAIR & BROWNS RB WILLIAM GREEN  

AS FEDEX AIR & GROUND NFL PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Quarterback STEVE MC NAIR of the Tennessee Titans and running back WILLIAM GREEN of the Cleveland Browns are the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week for games played on October 12-13, the NFL announced today. 

McNair completed 18 of 27 pass attempts for 421 yards and three touchdowns for a 146.8 passer rating in the Titans’ 38-17 win over Houston.

Green rushed for 145 yards and the game-winning touchdown on 26 carries in the Browns’ 13-7 win over Oakland.  It was his second consecutive 100-yard game.

McNair and Green were selected from among finalists in air and ground categories.  The other FedEx Express NFL Player of the Week finalists were Kansas City Chiefs TRENT GREEN and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback BRAD JOHNSON, while Green Bay Packers running back AHMAN GREEN and Baltimore Ravens running back JAMAL LEWIS were the other finalists for the FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week.
