Fans To Vote For Winners On NFL.com

Quarterbacks MARC BULGER of the St. Louis Rams, KERRY COLLINS of the New York Giants, and TRENT GREEN of the Kansas City Chiefs are the finalists for FedEx Express NFL Player of the Week honors for games played on October 26-27, while running backs STEPHEN DAVIS of the Carolina Panthers, PRIEST HOLMES of the Kansas City Chiefs, and JAMAL LEWIS of the Baltimore Ravens are the finalists for FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week honors, the NFL announced today.

Fans can vote for one player in each category on NFL.com from Tuesday morning through noon on Thursday to determine the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week.  The FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week will be announced Thursday on NFL.com and Friday in USA Today.

A closer look at the FedEx Express NFL Player of the Week finalists:

  • St. Louis’ Marc Bulger completed 22 of 37 attempts for 375 yards and a touchdown for a passer rating of 102.9 in the Rams’ 33-21 win over Pittsburgh.  
     
  • New York’s Kerry Collins completed 23 of 39 attempts for 375 yards and two touchdowns for a 97.7 passer rating in the Giants’ 29-17 win over Minnesota.  
     
  • Kansas City’s Trent Green completed 20 of 35 pass attempts for 273 yards and two touchdowns for a 101.3 passer rating in the Chiefs’ 38-5 win over Buffalo.   

A closer look at the FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week finalists:

  • Carolina’s Stephen Davis rushed for 178 yards and two touchdowns on 31 carries in the Panthers’ 23-20 overtime win over New Orleans.  Davis leads the NFC with 839 yards rushing.
     
  • Kansas City’s Priest Holmes rushed for 83 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries in the Chiefs’ 38-5 win over Buffalo.  Holmes leads the league with 12 rushing touchdowns. 
     
  • Baltimore’s Jamal Lewis rushed for 134 yards and a touchdown on 32 carries in the Ravens’ 26-6 win over Denver.  Lewis leads the league in rushing with 977 yards and has six consecutive 100-yard games.
