GIANTS QB KERRY COLLINS & PANTHERS RB STEPHEN DAVIS  

AS FEDEX AIR & GROUND NFL PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Quarterback KERRY COLLINS of the New York Giants and running back STEPHEN DAVIS of the Carolina Panthers are the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week for games played on October 26-27, the NFL announced today. 

Collins completed 23 of 39 attempts for 375 yards and two touchdowns for a 97.7 passer rating in the Giants’ 29-17 win over Minnesota.

Davis rushed for 178 yards and two touchdowns on 31 carries in the Panthers’ 23-20 overtime win over New Orleans.  Davis leads the NFC with 839 yards rushing.

Collins and Davis were selected from among finalists in air and ground categories.  The other FedEx Express NFL Player of the Week finalists were St. Louis Rams quarterback MARC BULGER and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback TRENT GREEN, while Kansas City Chiefs running back PRIEST HOLMES and Baltimore Ravens running back JAMAL LEWIS were the other finalists for the FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week.
