PATRIOTS KEEP CLEAN SHEET AGAINST COWBOYS, 12-0

The New England Patriots held the Dallas Cowboys scoreless for four quarters, en-route to a 12-0 victory in Foxboro, Massachusetts Sunday night in a game that matched the wits of Cowboys head coach Bill Parcells and Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, who served as a Parcells assistant for 12 years.

New England QB TOM BRADY threw for 212 yards on 15 of 34 passing with passes of 46 and 57 yards to WRs DEION BRANCH and DAVID GIVENS.  The first long completion set up an ADAM VINATIERI 23-yard field goal.  The second set up a 2-yard touchdown run by RB ANTOWAIN SMITH who finished the game with a team-leading 16 carries for 51 yards.

Cowboys QB QUINCY CARTER completed 20 of 36 passes for 210 yards, with FB RICHIE ANDERSON leading the team with eight catches for 85 yards.

The Patriots defense recorded one sack and three interceptions in the game, with CB TY LAW accounting for two of the picks.

At 7-3, the Cowboys next host the Carolina Panthers in Week 12, while the 8-2 Patriots travel to Houston to face the Texans.
