BRADY LEADS PATRIOTS TO LAST-MINUTE WIN OVER BRONCOS

The New England Patriots came from behind to defeat the Denver Broncos 30-26 on Monday night in Denver as Patriots QB TOM BRADY connected on an 18-yard touchdown pass to WR DAVID GIVENS with 30 seconds remaining in regulation.

Brady put together a terrific performance, completing 20 of 35 passes for 350 yards with three touchdowns for a passer rating of 108.0.  His three touchdown passes all went to different receivers, with WR DEION BRANCH catching a 66-yard scoring strike in the first quarter, one of his three receptions for 107 yards, and TE DANIEL GRAHAM making a 6-yard touchdown grab in the third quarter.

Denver held a 24-20 advantage after three quarters and led 26-23 with under a minute left in the game.  Broncos RB CLINTON PORTIS carried 26 times for 111 yards and one touchdown in the losing effort.  QB DANNY KANELL, starting his second game as a Bronco, threw for 163 yards and one touchdown. 

When Denver was unable to move the ball on their final possession, they were forced to punt with a little more than two minutes remaining, setting up New England’s final drive.

Both the Broncos and Patriots have byes in Week 10.
