Week #11 Nominees
Peter Warrick, WR -
Cincinnati
Bengals - 77-yard touchdown reception from Jon Kitna
After his fellow wide Bengal
wide receiver Chad Johnson guaranteed that the Bengals would hand the
undefeated Kansas City Chiefs their first loss of the season, Peter Warrick
catches a 77-yard touchdown pass from Jon Kitna that handed the Chiefs there
first loss of the season. Warrick finished the game with 212 all-purpose
yards and two touchdowns to up Cincinnati's record to 5-5, good enough for a
share of first place in the AFC North. The win marks the first time in 13
years that the Bengals have held a share of first place this late in the
season.
Justin McCareins, WR - Tennessee Titans - Five-yard touchdown catch
from Steve McNair
Justin McCareins
scores the Titans only touchdown of the day by catching a five-yard Steve
McNair pass while lying on his back and fending off a Jaguars defender.
McCareins finished the game with three receptions for 25 yards in the Titans
10-3 win over Jacksonville. The win brought the Titans to 8-2 and evened
their mark with the Indianapolis Colts for a share of the AFC South division
lead.
Hunter Smith, P - Indianapolis Colts - Game-winning 21-yard touchdown
run on a fake field goal
With the game
tied at 31 in the fourth quarter, the Colts punter takes a field goal snap
and sprints around the left side for a 21-yard game-winning touchdown.
Smith's first career touchdown upped the Colts record to 8-2 on the season,
good enough to keep Indianapolis in a tie with the Tennessee Titans for
first place in the AFC South.
Andre Johnson, WR - Houston Texans - 46-yard touchdown reception from
Tony Banks
The Texans
rookie wide receiver scores the only touchdown of the game in the Texans’
12-10 road win over the Bills by catching a Tony Banks pass and plowing
through three defenders on his way to a 46-yard touchdown. Johnson caught
four passes for 122 yards to lead the 4-6 Texans to victory. The Texans’
fourth win of the season matches their win total from a season ago.
Stephen Davis, RB - Carolina Panthers - Game-winning 3-yard touchdown
run
Trailing 17-13 late in
the fourth quarter running back Stephen Davis beats his old team with a
bruising game-winning three-yard touchdown run to give the Panthers a 20-17

scrimmage. The win preserved the Panthers’ three game lead in the NFC South
over the New Orleans Saints.
