CHARLES TILLMAN’S GAME-SAVING INTERCEPTION AWARDED
NFL PLAY OF WEEK FIFTEEN – PRESENTED BY LEVITRA
â
(vardenafil HCI)

NEW YORK—DECEMBER 18, 2003 – Chicago Bears rookie cornerback Charles Tillman’s game-saving one-handed interception in the end zone against the Minnesota Vikings has been voted the “NFL Play of the Week - Presented by LEVITRA”â - (vardenafil HCI) for games played December 14-15.

Tillman’s impressive interception is now eligible to be selected as the “NFL Play of the Year - Presented by LEVITRA” - to be awarded this February at Super Bowl XXXVIII in Houston, Texas.

The “NFL Play of the Week - Presented by LEVITRA” - introduced this season by the NFL, is presented each Thursday and recognizes the single most exciting play that week. Fans who vote at NFL.com each week between Tuesday and Thursday can also be entered into a sweepstakes that will send one lucky winner and a guest to Super Bowl XXXVIII in Houston, Texas.  Voting is open to fans each week from Tuesday at Noon ET to Thursday at Noon ET on NFL.com.

With 1:02 remaining in the game and Chicago clinging to a 13-10 lead, Tillman went airborne and used one hand to grab a touchdown pass away from Pro Bowl receiver Randy Moss for a game-saving interception in the end zone.  Tillman’s fourth career interception ensured fellow rookie Rex Grossman of his first career win as Bears quarterback.

Tillman’s interception edged out Green Bay Packers wide receiver Robert Ferguson’s 40-yard touchdown reception from Brett Favre against the San Diego Chargers in fan voting on NFL.com.  With this week’s “NFL Play of the Week - Presented by LEVITRA” – win, the young defensive back out of the University of Louisiana-Lafayette becomes both the first Chicago Bear and the first rookie to capture the award.  For details and video of this week’s nominees and the results of fan voting, please visit NFL.com/playoftheweek.
