2003 – New England Patriots cornerback Ty Law’s game-sealing 65-yard
interception-return touchdown against the Tennessee Titans is among the five
week five nominees for the NFL PLAY OF THE WEEK - PRESENTED BY LEVITRAâ
(vardenafil HCI)
- introduced by the NFL this season.
The
award is presented each Thursday during the NFL regular season to recognize
the single most exciting play that week as determined by the fans. Voting
is open to the fans each week from Tuesday at Noon ET until Thursday at Noon
ET, exclusively on NFL.com.
Each weekly winner will be a finalist for the NFL PLAY OF THE YEAR -
PRESENTED BY LEVITRA - to be awarded at Super Bowl XXXVIII in Houston,
Texas. Fans who vote at NFL.com each week can also be entered into a
sweepstakes that will send one lucky winner and a guest to Super Bowl
XXXVIII in February.
Kansas City Chiefs kick returner Dante Hall’s game-winning 97-yard
kickoff-return touchdown against the Baltimore Ravens was last week’s winner
as voted by the fans at NFL.com.

New England
Patriots - Game-sealing 65-yard interception-return touchdown
Nursing a
sprained ankle with his team clinging to a four-point fourth-quarter lead,
the Patriots Pro Bowl cornerback steps in front of a Steve McNair pass and
returns it 65 yards to secure the Patriots’ 38-30 win over the Tennessee
Titans. Law, who recorded five solo tackles, is the second Patriots
cornerback to be nominated for the NFL Play of the Week - Presented by
LEVITRA. Rookie Asante Samuel was nominated in week three for an
interception return-touchdown against the New York Jets.

Chiefs - Game-winning 93-yard punt-return touchdown
Last
week's winner does it again racking up his third NFL Play of the Week -
Presented by LEVITRA - nominated play with a game-winning 93-yard
punt-return touchdown. This time, Hall fields a Micah Knorr punt with his
team trailing 23-17 and makes some incredible moves en route to extending
his NFL record to four consecutive games with a return-touchdown. For the
second week in a row, Hall's return-touchdown proved to be the game-winning
score as the Chiefs won the battle of 4-0 teams, 24-23.

Minnesota
Vikings - 17-yard touchdown reception from Gus Frerotte
With the
undefeated Vikings trailing by eight in the third quarter, Minnesota's wide
receiver leaps, catches and gets two feet in bounds for his second touchdown
catch of the day from Gus Frerotte. Starting with Moss' dazzling touchdown
grab, the Vikings outscored the Falcons 27-6 in the second half to move to a
perfect 5-0 record with the 39-26 win over Atlanta.

Carolina
Panthers - 100-yard kickoff-return touchdown
With the
score tied in the second quarter, Smart puts the Panthers ahead for good,
tying a Carolina Panthers record with a 100-yard kickoff return. The kick
return gave the Panthers the franchise's first 4-0 start and a 19-13
division win. Smart finished the game with a 46.7-yard kickoff return
average.

Jacksonville
Jaguars - 60-yard touchdown reception from Byron Leftwich
Late in
the fourth quarter, the Jaguars star running back seals the win for
Jacksonville when he takes a screen pass 60 yards for a touchdown to ensure
the team's first win of the season 27-21, over the San Diego Chargers.
Taylor finished the day with 164 total yards and two touchdowns.
