AFC STANDOUTS AIM FOR FIRST PRO BOWL

While December winds blow and the mercury drops, NFL All-Stars will be named on December 22. Top performers of 2005 will earn the right to play for conference supremacy under the bright Hawaiian sun.

A number of this year’s AFC standouts aim to suit up for the Pro Bowl for the first time.

Fan voting for the Pro Bowl – which will be held on Sunday, February 13 (ESPN, 7:30 PM ET) – on NFL.com and via wireless devices, concludes on December 19. NFL players and coaches will cast their votes on December 20-21, and the team will be announced on Wednesday, December 22 on the 2005 Pro Bowl Selection Show on ESPN. After six weeks of voting, more than 42 million ballots have been cast on NFL.com, two million more than last year.
