THRILLER AGIANST SEAHAWKS 43-39 The Dallas Cowboys scored 10 points in the closing two minutes to defeat the Seattle Seahawks 43-39 on Monday night. Cowboys RB JULIUS JONES’ 17-yard touchdown run with 32 seconds remaining capped a 198-yard and three touchdown rushing performance in the rookie’s second career start. Seahawks RB SHAUN ALEXANDER put the team ahead 39-29 on a 32-yard touchdown run with 2:46 remaining. The Cowboys responded when QB VINNY TESTAVERDE threw a 34-yard touchdown pass to WR KEYSHAWN JOHNSON with 1:45 remaining to pull the club within three points. Cowboys K BILLY CUNDIFF then struck a perfect onside kick that TE JASON WHITTEN recovered at the Dallas 43. The Cowboys marched down the field with Jones carrying the ball for 44 of the winning drives 57 yards. The comeback spoiled Seahawks QB MATT HASSELBECK’s night in which he completed 28 of 40 passes for 414 yards and three touchdowns.
