MC NABB LEADS EAGLES PAST VIKINGS 27-16 ON MONDAY NIGHT The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Minnesota Vikings 27-16 on Monday Night. Eagles QB DONOVAN MC NABB threw two touchdown passes, including a 45-yarder to newly acquired WR TERRELL OWENS in the fourth quarter that put the Eagles up 24-9. For the evening, McNabb was 19-of-28 for 245 yards. He also added a 20-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. The Vikings offense was successful in moving the ball for most of the game, totaling 410 yards of total offense. QB DAUNTE CULPEPEPER passed for 343 yards and a touchdown, but a key fumble at the Eagles’ goaline when Culpepper was stripped of the ball by Eagles LB NATE WAYNE and recovered by S BRIAN DAWKINS allowed Philadelphia to take a 10-6 lead into halftime. |
