DREW BREES, COLTS QB PEYTON MANNING Fans To Vote For Winners On NFL.com Quarterbacks DREW BREES of the San Diego Chargers, PEYTON MANNING of the Indianapolis Colts and JAKE PLUMMER of the Denver Broncos are the finalists for FedEx Express NFL Player of the Week honors for games played on November 7-8, while running backs SHAUN ALEXANDER of the Seattle Seahawks, JEROME BETTIS of the Pittsburgh Steelers and MICHAEL PITTMAN of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the finalists for FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week honors, the NFL announced today. Fans can vote for one player in each category on NFL.com from Tuesday morning through noon on Thursday to determine the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week. The FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week will be announced Thursday on NFL.com and Friday in USA Today. Fans will be voting for more than their favorite player. The weekly FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week Awards are a win for the local community. Along with the award, FedEx will donate $5,000 every week to the local children’s hospital in each winning market. The children’s hospitals in the two season-long winner’s markets, announced at this year’s Super Bowl, will be awarded $25,000 each. That means that FedEx will deliver nearly $250,000 to local children’s hospitals around the country in recognition of the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week Award winners. A closer look at the FedEx Express NFL Player of the Week finalists: San Diego’s Drew Brees completed 22 of 36 passes for 257 yards, four touchdowns and a passer rating of 119.8 in the Chargers’ 43-17 victory over the New Orleans Saints. Brees connected with tight end Antonio Gates for touchdowns of two, seven and 12 yards and finished with four touchdown passes after throwing five last week. Indianapolis’ Peyton Manning threw for 268 yards and four touchdowns, completing 23 of 29 passes for a 144.2 passer rating in the Colts’ 31-28 victory over the Minnesota Vikings. Manning threw touchdown passes of four, five, 10 and 19 yards and led the Colts on a game-winning scoring drive with less than three minutes to play in the game. Denver’s Jake Plummer completed 16 of 24 passes for 234 yards and four touchdowns, finishing with a 137.8 passer rating in the Broncos’ 31-13 victory over the Houston Texans. Plummer threw touchdowns of 13, 23, 34 and 40 yards to move Denver to 6-3, tied with the San Diego Chargers atop the AFC West. A closer look at the FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week finalists: Seattle’s Shaun Alexander carried 26 times for 160 yards and two touchdowns in the Seahawks’ 42-27 victory over the San Francisco 49ers. He scored on runs of one and four yards on consecutive second-quarter possessions. Pittsburgh’s Jerome Bettis ran for 149 yards on 33 carries as the Steelers beat the previously-undefeated Philadelphia Eagles 27-3. Bettis helped the Steelers drive for touchdowns on their first three possessions. Tampa Bay’s Michael Pittman carried 15 times for 128 yards and three touchdowns as the Buccaneers defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 34-31. He scored on a 78-yard run and iced the game with a 3-yard TD in the fourth quarter. Jets. His four-yard touchdown catch in the back corner of the end zone
put the Bills ahead 17-10 in the third quarter. It was the second
touchdown reception of Evans’ NFL career. Arizona’s Larry Fitzgerald caught five passes for 94 yards and
one touchdown in the Cardinals’ 24-23 victory over the Miami Dolphins.
With less than a minute to play, Fitzgerald caught a two-yard,
game-winning touchdown from quarterback Josh McCown. He leads the
Cardinals with 31 catches for 463 yards and three touchdowns. Chicago’s Craig Krenzel passed for 144 yards and one touchdown on
8 of 21 passing in the Bears’ 28-21 win against the New York Giants. In
his second-career start, Krenzel led Chicago to a win on the road,
completing a 35-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Bernard Berrian in
the second quarter. Pittsburgh’s Ben Roethlisberger completed 11 of 18 passes for 183 yards and two touchdowns in the Steelers’ 27-3 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. Roethlisberger connected with wide receiver Hines Ward and tight end Jay Riemersma on touchdown passes of 20 and two yards respectively. He is 6-0 as an NFL starter. Cincinnati’s Madieu Williams recorded a team-high nine tackles
and intercepted a pass in the Bengals’ 26-3 victory over the Dallas
Cowboys. Williams leads Cincinnati in tackles this season and is tied

Pittman's run proved critical in the Buccaneers' 34-31 victory over the Chiefs. He finished with 128 yards rushing and three touchdowns. Ed Reed, S- Baltimore Ravens, 106-yard interception return for a touchdown With the Baltimore Ravens clinging to a 20-13 lead with under a minute to play and the Cleveland Browns threatening to score, Ravens safety Ed Reed picked off a pass in his own end zone and ran the length of the field for an NFL-record 106-yard interception return for a touchdown. Reed picked off the pass after it deflected off of the hands of a Browns receiver. Reed's touchdown secured the Ravens' 27-13 victory over their AFC North divisional rivals. Matt Schobel, TE- Cincinnati Bengals, 76-yard touchdown reception The Cincinnati Bengals were leading the Dallas Cowboys 9-3 in the third quarter when tight end Matt Schobel broke open the game with his 76-yard touchdown reception. Schobel hauled in a Carson Palmer pass and streaked down the middle of the field, breaking one tackle and outrunning several defenders for the score. The Bengals went to beat the Cowboys 26-3. Koren Robinson, WR- Seattle Seahawks, 25-yard touchdown reception With his team trailing by three early in the third quarter, Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Koren Robinson caught a Matt Hasselbeck pass and raced 25 yards down the right sideline to give his team a 28-24 lead. Robinson's touchdown proved to be the deciding score as the Seahawks went on to defeat the NFC West-rival San Francisco 49ers, 42-27.
