The weekly FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week Awards are a win for the local community. Along with the award, FedEx will donate $5,000 every week to the local children’s hospital in each winning market. The children’s hospitals in the two season-long winner’s markets, announced at this year’s Super Bowl, will be awarded $25,000 each. That means that FedEx will deliver nearly $250,000 to local children’s hospitals around the country in recognition of the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week Award winners. A closer look at the FedEx Express NFL Player of the Week finalists: Baltimore’s Kyle Boller completed 23 of 34 passes for 232 yards and two touchdowns in the Ravens’ 30-10 victory over the Dallas Cowboys. Boller recorded a passer rating of 106.5 and threw touchdown passes of 17 yards to tight end Darnell Dinkins and 31 yards to wide receiver Kevin Johnson. Indianapolis’ Peyton Manning threw for 211 yards and four touchdowns, completing 17 of 28 passes for a 108.8 passer rating in the Colts’ 41-10 victory over the Chicago Bears. Manning has thrown four or more touchdown passes in each of his last four games and has done it five times this season. Philadelphia’s Donovan McNabb completed 18 of 26 passes for 222 yards and four touchdowns for a 118.1 passer rating in the Eagles’ 28-6 victory over the NFC East-rival Washington Redskins. McNabb has thrown four touchdown passes four times this season after connecting on scoring strikes of one, two, 10 and 14 yards on Sunday. A closer look at the FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week finalists: Denver’s Reuben Droughns carried 28 times for 166 yards and one touchdown in the Broncos’ 34-13 victory over the New Orleans Saints. Droughns ran 51 yards for a touchdown on his first carry of the game. Carolina’s Nick Goings ran for 121 yards and three touchdowns on 22 carries in the Panthers’ 35-10 victory over the Arizona Cardinals. Goings scored on touchdown runs of one, two and 57 yards. Indianapolis’ Edgerrin James carried 23 times for 204 yards and one touchdown in the Colts’ 41-10 victory over the Chicago Bears. Jets’ 10-7 victory over the Cleveland Browns. Coleman, who recorded the
first sack of his career midway through the fourth quarter to force a
Cleveland punt, ranks third on the team with 61 tackles this season. Carolina’s Chris Gamble recorded six tackles and one interception
in the Panthers’ 35-10 victory over the Arizona Cardinals. Gamble’s
interception, his second in as many games, came in the fourth quarter on
third and one from the Carolina one yard-line. Detroit’s Kevin Jones carried 19 times for 100 yards in the Lions’ 22-19 loss to the NFC North-rival Minnesota Vikings. Jones’ performance was the first 100-yard rushing game of his NFL career. He has 408 yards and one touchdown on 117 carries this season. Pittsburgh’s Ben Roethlisberger completed 15 of 21 passes for 138
yards and one touchdown for a 104.9 passer rating in the Steelers’ 19-14

Champ Bailey, CB- Denver Broncos, Interception With the Denver Broncos leading the New Orleans Saints 34-13 early in the fourth quarter, Broncos cornerback Champ Bailey made an acrobatic interception in his own endzone to help seal the Broncos' victory. As Bailey leaped and grabbed the ball out the air in the corner of the endzone, he managed to drag both feet inbounds while securing the ball. Denver won the game 34-13. Erron Kinney, TE- Tennessee Titans, 21-yard reception With the Tennessee Titans trailing the Jacksonville Jaguars by five late in the fourth quarter and facing a fourth and one, Titans tight end Erron Kinney hauled in a pass from quarterback Steve McNair and raced 21 yards up the left sideline to the Jacksonville 4. The reception set up an Antowain Smith game-winning touchdown run on the next play. The Titans went on to defeat their AFC South divisional rival 18-15. Reggie Wayne, WR- Indianapolis Colts, 27-yard touchdown reception With 8:47 remaining in the third quarter of the Indianapolis Colts' match-up with the Chicago Bears, Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne hauled in a 27-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Peyton Manning in the back of the end zone to give his team a 34-3 lead.
