Fans To Vote For Winners On NFL.com

Quarterbacks PEYTON MANNING of the Indianapolis Colts, DONOVAN MC NABB of the Philadelphia Eagles and CARSON PALMER of the Cincinnati Bengals are the finalists for FedEx Express NFL Player of the Week honors for games played on December 5-6, while running backs JULIUS JONES of the Dallas Cowboys, KEVIN JONES of the Detroit Lions and CLINTON PORTIS of the Washington Redskins are the finalists for FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week honors, the NFL announced today.

Fans can vote for one player in each category on NFL.com from Tuesday morning through noon on Thursday to determine the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week. The FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week will be announced Thursday on NFL.com and Friday in USA Today.

Fans will be voting for more than their favorite player. The weekly FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week Awards are a win for the local community. Along with the award, FedEx will donate $5,000 every week to the local children’s hospital in each winning market. The children’s hospitals in the two season-long winner’s markets, announced at this year’s Super Bowl, will be awarded $25,000 each. That means that FedEx will deliver nearly $250,000 to local children’s hospitals around the country in recognition of the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week Award winners.

A closer look at the FedEx Express NFL Player of the Week finalists:

Indianapolis’ Peyton Manning threw for 425 yards and three touchdowns, completing 25 of 33 passes for a 122.3 passer rating in the Colts’ 51-24 victory over the AFC South-rival Tennessee Titans. Manning threw touchdown passes of 10, 24 and 28 yards, the ninth time this season he has thrown for at least three touchdowns in a game.

Philadelphia’s Donovan McNabb completed 32 of 43 passes for 464 yards, five touchdowns and a passer rating of 147.8 in the Eagles’ 47-17 victory over the Green Bay Packers. McNabb’s five touchdown passes were a career high and his 464 yards passing set an Eagles’ team record.

Cincinnati’s Carson Palmer completed 29 of 36 passes for 382 yards and three touchdowns in the Bengals’ 27-26 victory over the AFC North-rival Baltimore Ravens. Palmer recorded a passer rating of 127.1, connecting on touchdown passes of nine, 12 and 13 yards while leading the Bengals’ comeback from a 20-3 deficit.

A closer look at the FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week finalists:

Dallas’ Julius Jones ran for a career-high 198 yards and three touchdowns on 30 carries in the Cowboys’ 43-39 victory over the Seattle Seahawks. Jones’ three scores came on runs of eight, 10 and 17 yards.

Detroit’s Kevin Jones carried 26 times for a career-high 196 yards and one touchdown in the Lions’ 26-12 victory over the Arizona Cardinals. Jones, scored on a two-yard run and had a career-long 74-yarder.

Washington’s Clinton Portis ran for 148 yards and one touchdown on 31 carries in the Redskins’ 31-7 victory over the NFC East-rival New York Giants. Portis added a second touchdown on a four-yard reception.

Wide receiver LEE EVANS of the Buffalo Bills, running back STEVEN JACKSON of the St. Louis Rams, running back JULIUS JONES of the Dallas Cowboys, running back KEVIN JONES of the Detroit Lions and quarterback BEN ROETHLISBERGER of the Pittsburgh Steelers are the finalists for PEPSI NFL ROOKIE OF THE WEEK honors for games played on December 5-6, the NFL announced today.

Fans can vote for one of these five players on NFL.com beginning Tuesday morning and ending on Thursday afternoon to determine the PEPSI NFL ROOKIE OF THE WEEK. The PEPSI NFL ROOKIE OF THE WEEK will be announced Thursday afternoon on NFL.com.

After the regular season, players will be nominated for Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year honors. Fans can vote for the winner on NFL.com throughout the month of January. The winner will be announced at a press conference at Super Bowl XXXIX in Jacksonville.

A closer look at the finalists:

Buffalo’s Lee Evans caught four passes for 110 yards and two touchdowns in the Bills’ 42-32 victory over the AFC East-rival Miami Dolphins. Evans scored on touchdown receptions of 21 and 69 yards, giving him five touchdowns on the season. He ranks second on the team with 29 catches for 554 yards

St. Louis’ Steven Jackson carried 26 times for 119 yards in the Rams’ 16-6 victory over the NFC West-rival San Francisco 49ers. Jackson recorded the first 100-yard rushing game of his career and ranks second on the team with 496 rushing yards on 100 carries.

Dallas’ Julius Jones ran for a career-high 198 yards and three touchdowns on 30 carries in the Cowboys’ 43-39 victory over the Seattle Seahawks. Jones scored on runs of eight and 10 yards and added a game-winning 17-yarder in the final minute. He also caught three passes for 11 yards.

Detroit’s Kevin Jones ran for a career-high 196 yards on 26 carries with one touchdown in the Lions’ 26-12 victory over the Arizona Cardinals. Jones scored on a two-yard touchdown run to give the Lions a 14-6 lead in the second quarter. He also had a career-long 74-yard run, a Lions rookie record

Pittsburgh’s Ben Roethlisberger threw for 221 yards and two touchdowns, completing 14 of 17 passes in the Steelers’ 17-16 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Roethlisberger registered a 158.0 passer rating while improving to 10-0 as a starter. He added three carries for 40 yards.

This is Pepsi’s third year as the official soft drink sponsor of the NFL.

NEW YORK, DECEMBER 7, 2004 – Dallas Cowboys rookie running back Julius Jones’ game-winning, 17-yard touchdown run against the Seattle Seahawks is among the five Week 13 nominees for "LEVITRAâ (vardenafil HCI) PLAY OF THE WEEK."

The award is presented each week during the NFL regular season to recognize the single most exciting play that week as determined by the fans. Voting is open to the fans this week from Tuesday at Noon ET until Thursday at Noon ET, exclusively on NFL.com. Each weekly winner will be a finalist for "LEVITRAâ PLAY OF THE YEAR," to be awarded at Super Bowl XXXIX in Jacksonville, Florida.

Fans who vote at NFL.com each week can also enter for their chance to win a three-day/two-night trip for two to Jacksonville, Florida to attend Super Bowl XXXIX on February 6, 2005, including round-trip airfare and hotel accommodations.

Bethel Johnson, WR - New England, 93-yard kickoff return for a touchdown

On the opening kickoff of the New England Patriots match-up with the Cleveland Browns, Patriots kick returner Bethel Johnson fielded the kick, made a break toward the middle of the field and raced 93 yards for the game's first score. The Patriots went on to beat the Browns 42-15, improving their record to 11-1 on the season.

Ed Reed/Chris McAlister, S/CB - Baltimore Ravens, 64-yard interception, fumble recovery for a touchdown

With the Baltimore Ravens clinging to a 10-point lead over the AFC North-rival Cincinnati Bengals late in the third quarter, Ravens safety Ed Reed intercepted a pass and returned it 21 yards before fumbling. Reed's teammate Chris McAlister scooped up the loose ball and ran it back the remaining 64 yards for a touchdown to give the Ravens a 20-3 lead. The Bengals would battle back to defeat the Ravens 27-26.

Pat Williams, DT - Buffalo Bills, 20-yard interception return for a touchdown

With less than two minutes to play in the Buffalo Bills AFC East divisional match up with the Miami Dolphins, Bills defensive tackle Pat Williams picked off a Jay Feely pass and barreled down the sideline for the 20-yard score. It was Williams' first career interception and his touchdown capped off the Bills' 42-32 victory over the Dolphins.

Eddie Kennison, WR - Kansas City Chiefs, 70-yard touchdown reception

With the Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raiders deadlocked at 27-27, Chiefs wide receiver Eddie Kennison hauled in a Trent Green pass and sprinted down the field. Kennison fended off two Oakland defenders on his way into the end zone for the game-winning score. His eight catches and 149 receiving yards helped the Chiefs to a 34-27 victory in this AFC West showdown.

Julius Jones, RB - Dallas Cowboys, Game-winning 17-yard touchdown run

With only 32 seconds remaining in the game and his team trailing the Seattle Seahawks by three, Dallas Cowboys rookie running back Julius Jones burst through the line, juked a defender and sprinted to the endzone for the game-winning 17-yard touchdown. Jones helped the Cowboys to a 43-39 victory, finished the game with 198 rushing yards and three touchdowns.

About LEVITRA

LEVITRA is a prescription medicine that is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). Men taking nitrate drugs, often used to control chest pain (also known as angina), should not take LEVITRA. Men who use alpha blockers, sometimes prescribed for high blood pressure or prostate problems, also should not take LEVITRA. Such combinations could cause blood pressure to drop to an unsafe level.

You should not take LEVITRA if your doctor determines that sexual activity poses a health risk for you. Men who experience an erection for more than four hours should seek immediate medical attention. LEVITRA does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases.

The starting dose of LEVITRA is 10 mg taken no more than once per day. Your doctor will decide the dose that is right for you. In patients taking certain medications such as ritonavir, indinavir, ketoconazole, itraconazole, and erythromycin, lower doses of LEVITRA are recommended, and time between doses of LEVITRA may need to be extended.

In clinical trials, the most commonly reported side effects were headache, flushing, and stuffy or runny nose. LEVITRA is available in 2.5-mg, 5-mg, 10-mg, and 20-mg tablets.

About Erectile Dysfunction

The consistent or recurrent inability of a man to attain and/or maintain a penile erection sufficient for sexual performance1 – is a common health condition among men that is largely untreated. It is estimated that some degree of ED affects more than one half of all men over the age of 402– 152 million men worldwide3 and 30 million men in the United States alone.4

Despite the high prevalence of sexual problems, nine out of 10 men in the U.S. have not yet sought treatment from a physician.5
