BENGALS EDGE DOLPHINS 16-13 SUNDAY NIGHT In their first national primetime game since 1997, Cincinnati Bengals defeated the Miami Dolphins 16-13 as K SHAYNE GRAHAM kicked a game-winning 39-yard field goal with 2 seconds left. QB CARSON PALMER was nearly flawless on the Bengals’ final 59-yard drive, going 7-of-8 to set Graham up for the score. For the evening, Palmer, was 21-of-38 for 147 yards. The largest crowd in Paul Brown Stadium history saw both defenses hold their ground for four quarters. After the Dolphins took a 3-0 halftime lead, Bengals LB Brian Simmons intercepted QB A.J. FEELEY’S pass and returned it 50 yards to give the Bengals a 7-3 edge. Graham would tack on two more third quarter field goals of 48 and 36 yards to give the Bengals a 13-3 lead as the teams headed to the fourth quarter. Feeley, who was making his first start in a Dolphins uniform, brought his team back when he threw a tipped 4-yard touchdown pass to WR CHRIS CHAMBERS and followed it with a game-tying drive that ended with a 47-yard K OLINDO MARE field goal with 1:53 remaining.
