VIKINGS DEFEAT SAINTS 38-31 ON SUNDAY NIGHT

The Minnesota Vikings topped the New Orleans Saints 38-31 in the teams first prime-=time matchup Sunday night.

Vikings QB DAUNTE CULPEPPER threw five touchdown passes for an NFL season-record third time this year. Culpepper completed 26 of 37 attempts for 425 yards.

The Vikings had 605 yards of offense and converted 8 of 11 third downs.

Minnesota rookie RB MEWELDE MOORE rushed for 109 yards and caught seven passes for 78 yards.

Saints RB DEUCE Mc ALLISTER rushed for 78 yards and two touchdowns.
